Introducing the Key Work Model for Salvation Army Emergency Shelters

This pre-conference institute will introduce a custom-built case management model for use in Salvation Army Emergency Shelters – a holistic and housing-oriented model, designed specifically for use in ministry units seeking alignment with the Territorial Operating Principles for Emergency Shelters. In-progress forms and templates will be provided for piloting this participatory coaching model in your shelter, as well as training in the principles and postures that will support ministry unit staff in taking a new approach to coaching and capacity-building with others. The training will be led by the model’s design team, including a coaching professional. Participation by staff teams, including program managers, case workers and frontline staff is encouraged in this day-long learning lab.
